How to Do Your Makeup Like Gigi Hadid!

Gigi Hadid is one of the biggest names out there right now. It isn’t hard to see why either; she’s an amazing supermodel, dating Zayn Malik, and she always looks flawless! The thing I’ve noticed about Gigi is that she never looks too done up, but she always looks gorgeous. That’s why I thought I’d write out some makeup tips that should help you to emulate her look. Enjoy!

Illuminating Primer
Gigi always looks like she’s glowing, at least a little bit. This is down to her illuminating primer! She definitely uses something shimmery underneath her foundation to brighten her skin and make her glow. Primer holds the makeup on for longer too, so if you don’t currently use it, then you should!

Use a Dewy Foundation
A dewy foundation will cover your imperfections without making you look like you’ve caked anything on. You’ll still have a slight sheen, and some of them will allow your natural skin to show through a little. If you need more coverage, the best thing you can do is apply lightly all over and then add a little more to blemish prone areas with a sponge. Make sure you blend it perfectly too!


Cat Eye or Soft Browns
When it comes to your eyes, you should either go for a classic cat eye or soft brown shadows. Gigi never goes OTT with her eye makeup. You could even go for some gold colours for a special occasion. Dot a shimmery shadow in the inner corner of your eyes to open them up! You can find lots of palettes that contain the colours you need, like a Z palette. Using a Z palette isn’t hard!

Peach blusher
Gigi always wears peachy blusher, as her complexion is quite warm. If yours is different, you might want to go for a slightly different blusher. She only wears a hint, so make sure you don’t get brush happy!

A Subtle Golden Glow
If you’re going for more of a bronzed look, then use bronzer to create a subtle golden glow. You can also use a nice golden highlighter on the tops of your cheeks, down your nose and in the arch of your brow.

Nude Liner and Gloss
Gigi doesn’t usually wear a dark lip. Her lips always look smooth and kissable, but subtle. For this, I’d use a nude liner to outline after applying a gloss. Then I’d use my finger to smudge the line slightly, so it doesn’t look too harsh. You can even exfoliate them beforehand, so they’re nice and smooth.

Lightly Fill in Brows and Tame
Gigi has naturally full brows, so they don’t ever look drawn on. This means if you fill your brows in, you need to make it subtle. You should also use a brow mascara to tame the brows afterwards, directing the hair upwards.

Our bodies are amazing. They can do so much. And we use our bodies in so many wonderful ways. But sometimes we wish they were different. Perhaps you want to be stronger, slimmer, curvier, or faster. There are many ways to improve our bodies. It all depends on what you want them to do for you.

To make your body work harder for you, it’s important to feed it right. Diets should be rich in nutritious foods like vegetables, nuts, pulses and beans. These can provide the essential vitamins and minerals the body needs. Meat and dairy also have the place in our diets. And whole grains and seeds offer energy and fiber too.

Each food group provides something the body needs to work harder for longer. But the diet isn’t enough. A program of exercise designed to improve your fitness, stamina and strength is key to making your body do more. Repetitive movements can be very helpful for building strength and suppleness. It also helps the brain connect the motions to the work you want your body to do.

If you want to have stronger arms, you might try push ups, pull ups, curls and weight training. This will work the muscles, building strength. You may do several repetitions of each exercise and then rest for a few days. The resting period is essential for the muscle to repair and heal. This is how the muscle can gain strength.

Sleep is also essential to our bodies as it provides the rest needed for cells to regenerate and injuries to heal. It helps keep our metabolism in check and aids digestion. Most importantly, it helps the brain remember the movements we have done. We actively learn while we sleep.

If you’re looking to sculpt your body into a more refined shape, then a mixture of slimming and muscle work may be necessary. Celebrity bodies are much adored, like J-Lo, Kim Kardashian, and Beyonce. You can see more details on how they got their bodies into shape online. Cardiovascular or aerobic exercise is usually the best way to burn off fat.

This means more walking, jogging, and cross training need to go into the mix of your exercise program. Anything that raises your heart rate and works up a sweat is usually good! Stretching and flexibility in the limbs are also important for that toned look. Light weights can help boost the effect too.

Some celebrities swear by special diets to help them keep the fat off their body. There are two different kinds of fat. The good fats we need to stay healthy. The bad fats are the ones found in all those treats we know we should avoid! Chocolate, candies, cakes, and processed meats tend to be the worst offenders. Each of our bodies is unique, though. Balancing what we eat and what we do is best. We all need different things.

You can improve your body to be faster and stronger. Or you can improve how the body looks. We’re all born with a unique physique that will need the right diet and exercise to perform at its best. Take care of yours.

    Take it from me, when you’re planning a wedding, wedding planning websites are a godsend. All the best ones, like The Knot and WeddingBee, have lots of fantastic tips articles. From advice for choosing invitations to guides to picking the perfect dress, these wedding sites are fantastic.It’s one thing knowing what needs to be done when, it’s completely another knowing how to go about it. Thanks to your wedding planning book you might know when you need to send out save-the-dates, but you might not know how to choose the ideal design.   1. Don’t go down the DIY route

    DIY weddings can be absolutely beautiful. But if you want planning your wedding to be as free of stress as possible, a DIY wedding isn’t for you. If you opt to make everything yourself, from your food to your invitations, you’ll be putting yourself under a whole lot of stress.While it might save you money, if you want a wedding that’s free of stress, going down the DIY route is not a good idea. 4 Accessories Every Girl Needs

Recently, I wrote a post about my favourite accessories, which got me thinking about all the essentials. We might all have different likes and dislikes when it comes to our accessories, but there are some basic items that we all need.

So today, I thought that I would share my guide to four accessories that every girl should have. (These aren’t just things that I personally love, they are items that you really do need.)

  1. Tailored jacket
    You might have a cute day jacket, but for evenings out, it probably isn’t suitable. As well as your basic coat, you should also have a smart, tailored jacket that you can throw on before heading out for dinner or a night on the town. Something chic and elegant, and suitable for creating various looks.

    Black is perfect for a smart jacket, as it makes it easy to team with almost any look. However, if you would prefer a lighter style, you could always opt for a design in a nude tone, such as camel or cream. It’s best to opt for a design that’s tailored at the waist so that it doesn’t swallow your shape.

  1. Neutral clutch
    It’s all well and good having lots of glamorous clutches in your wardrobe, but you need one simple design. That way, you know that whatever you are wearing, and whatever the occasion, you have a suitable bag.
