I honestly can’t believe it’s been one year since the start of my blog. It seems like yesterday I was writing my 1st blog post and wondering where it would be a year from now. So much has changed; my blog has helped me grow in both my personal and professional life and I now… Continue reading GemmaPlumb.com’s 1st Birthday!
Hi, my name is Gemma and I’m a self confessed whinger, moaner and all round glass half empty kinda gal. I can’t even tell you how long I complained about a tiny paper cut on my finger the other day. Seriously though, why do they hurt so much!?! But soon enough I became sick to… Continue reading Happy List: Autumn Edition
Hi, my name is Gemma and I’m one of those people who constantly complains about their home town. Swansea to me is just a bit dull. I’ve always been a ‘grass is greener’ kind of person and London’s bright lights have always been screaming my name. It was at 4.30am I hopped out of bed and on to a coach to head off to the Professional beauty show in London.
The show was held at the ExCeL which hosts multiple conventions every year including the London Super Comic Convention and Summer in the City. As soon as you arrive you’re greeted by the divine scents from multiple food stands inside a large hall. There’s something for everyone ranging from Costa to Subway and Italian to Chinese! (I strongly recommend the thai green curry from Chozen Noodle…delicious!)
After arriving we picked up a long black lanyard to display our tickets and made our way to the entrance. In all honesty, a mixture of a massive hall full of brands trying to promote their products and beauty professionals, students and beauty fanatics rushing around desperate to snap up the best deals was a little overwhelming.
Each of the stalls had been individually decorated to suit that specific brand. Some ranging from simple but effective to glamorous and extravagant. Continue reading “Professional Beauty London & Haul!”
