January Favourites

It’s been a good ole’ while since I’ve done a roundup of all my favourite products and I’m thinking one is definitely in order! This month hasn’t been too crazy in terms of expanding my beauty horizons, but what I have tried this month I’ve pretty much fallen in love with.

Real Techniques Blending Sponge.
With the weather reaching the coldest it’s been in a while, my skin has taken a bashing and my regular holy grail buffing brush just hasn’t been doing it for me. Using a damp beauty blender changes everything. It massively helps keep me from caking up and allows me to add some much-needed moisture to the face.

Smashbox #ShapeMatters Palette.
I’m not going to dive to in depth about why I’ve been loving this as I’ve already done a review on it, which you can read here. But in short, it has everything you need to contour and shape your whole face with super pigmented and easy to blend powders.

Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette.
Again, I’ve already written a post explaining exactly why I love this palette, so you can read all about it here. But if you love the smell of chocolate and warm eye shadows you’re going to love this palette just as much as me.

B. Brush Cleaner.
I recently spotted this cleaner on an offers shelf and figured I may as well give it a go. This is such a great cleaner. It cleans your brushes in a flash, condition the bristles to keep them soft and is anti-bacterial to keep them all nice and sanitised. This is a great product to have on hand as it dries super quickly, so you can use your brushes again almost immediately after cleaning. The only thing I’m not crazy about with this product is the chemically/alcohol scent. But it’s something that can definitely be overlooked as the scent doesn’t last on the brushes.

Lemon Body Butter.
As I’ve already mentioned in this post with all this cold weather my skin has been taking a bashing and my body is no exception. I’ve been using this Nature’s Ingredients Lemon Verbena Body Butter and holy moly I’m obsessed. It contains coconut oil and cocoa butter so it’s insanely moisturising and sinks into the skin crazy fast.

Clinique Serum.
This is quite possibly my favourite serum of all time and although crazy pricey, it’s so so so worth it! It’s suitable for pretty much everyone and adapts to your personal skin issues. Since using this I’ve found my redness has reduced, my pores have dramatically shrunk and my skin just generally looks significantly healthier.

What have you guys been loving this month?

Lots of Love
