Recently I’ve been trying extremely hard to get my hair in a better condition. With hair nearly down to my bum, heat used on it everyday and hair colour almost constantly being used, my hair isn’t exactly in the best condition. Don’t get me wrong, it’s healthy and strong but it can sometimes feel a little dry and split ends are a pretty big issue. And as if the universe knew it, I got a tube of the Living Proof Restore Instant Repair Lotion in my Novemeber BirchBox.
An advanced, instant hair transformer that helps correct and treat hair before and after styling, developed with a restorative shield, featuring patented health hair molecule (OFPMA).
The Living Proof Restore Instant Repair Lotion claims to instantly repair current split ends while preventing 93% of new split ends and makes your hair 15x stronger after just one use.
As you can imagine at this point, I’m feeling pretty giddy with excitement and had to test it out immediately. Firstly, I want to note how stunning the packaging is. It’s extremely simple and understated but looks classy, expensive and will make your bathroom shelf look amazing.
On first impressions, the product has a beautiful salon-worthy scent and is a lightweight white cream. To use, you simply apply a dime-sized amount to damp hair, focusing on the ends and then style as normal.
After the first use, I think it’s pretty safe to assume I’m hooked. Not only does this deliever everything it claims to but so much more. It’s really easy and quick to apply, it’s lightweight on your hair, so it won’t weigh it down, while also providing a de-tangling and de-frizzing effect. The ends of my hair which are normal Split-end City now look sleek and smooth.
Overall, would I recommend it? Definitely! If you’re someone who has frizzy, split-end prone hair, you won’t regret this purchase!
