This year, with my blog growing and more people reading, I wanted to take the opportunity to help promote some amazing charities each and every month. On the first of every month will be a post talking about the charity and what they do, with links to all their amazing information and how you can receive help or donate to their extremely worthwhile cause. At the bottom of each of that months posts will be a link to that specific charity’s website.
January’s charity focus is on Mind; a charity aimed at getting everyone who suffers with mental health issues the support and respect they deserve. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem and they campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. Mind believes no-one should have to face a mental health problem alone. They’ll listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner.
